Our philosophy

It is very normal and in fact beneficial to experience challenging situations in life. These situations allow us to grow in many ways. When students are faced with challenges at school, they may lose their self-esteem and self-confidence.  Once the student’s confidence is enhanced, potential frustration towards school can be turned around to generate a sense of accomplishment and self-respect. In addition, students who are self-confident are more likely to become intrinsically motivate to learn.

To get there, we:

  • take a non-judgmental approach
  • make students feel valued and respected
  • incorporate their suggestions into the learning process
  • create a safe environment for all of us to learn!

We believe that we achieve the best results in terms of your child’s academic and psychological progress when we work with you, your child and your child’s teacher as a team.
